The new session of the Choral Society will start with the Annual General Meeting at 7.30pm on Sunday 22nd August in St Andrews church hall. It is to be hoped that there will be some time left after the AGM the sing and blow away some vocal cobwebs.
New members are always welcome especially Tenors and Basses.

Please make a note of the new session’s concert dates which are:

Christmas Concert:-     Sunday 5th December 2010,     7.30pm St Andrews Church

Spring Concert:-            Sunday 17th April 2010,             7.30pm St Andrews Church

Tickets for our upcoming concert on Sunday 18th of April 2010 are now available for purchase. These can be obtained from any member of the Choral or from the Ticket Secretary, Mrs Rachel Duncan, who can be contacted on 01241 874228.
The details of the concert are given at the bottom of this page.

The coffee morning on Saturday 27th Feb. was a great success and well supported by both Choral members and the Arbroath public. We would like to thank all those who attended and especially those who donated prizes, gifts and freshly baked cakes and fancies for the various stalls.
The “guess the weight of the beef” was very popular as were the bric-a-brac and book stalls.
Thanks go to all those who helped on the stalls and in the kitchen and also the ‘early birds’ who helped to set up the tables and chairs and cleared away at the end.
The sum raised will help pay for music and other expenses associated with our forthcoming Spring Concert on April 18th.

A fundraising Coffee Morning will be held on Saturday  27th February at the Old and Abbey Church, from 10.00am till 12.00pm;  admission £1.     Stalls will include a raffle, tombola, bric-a-brac, books and cake & candy.
